The Japanese Pearl Harbor attack occurred on
December 7,1941 and this photo appeared in The Record newspaper on December 31, 1941.

It shows Jack Shuart of 79 Clinton Place in Hackensack looking at Marine recruiting information.

Listed on the Original Wall Unit at the high school, we have a
John B. Shuart and a William Shuart, who he may be, or may be related to in some way, but I have no way of knowing at this time.
